We talked to Marianne Fjørtoft, Head of Product, and the mind behind our formulas, about the thinking behind the Pro Ageing Collection, and why effectiveness should never come at the cost of skin health.
WHAT WERE YOUR NON-NEGOTIABLES WHEN CREATING THE PRO AGE COLLECTION?
M: From the start, my non-negotiable was that effectiveness should never come at the cost of skin health. I was clear that the products had to work with the skin, not against it. That meant using smart delivery and biomimicking ingredients to support natural skin processes in a balanced and sustainable way.
WHAT DOES AGEING MEAN TO YOU?
M: Ageing, to me, is about balance. Learning when to push and when to support, in life and in skin. It’s about resilience, confidence, and allowing things to evolve in a healthy, sustainable way.
WHAT PROBLEM WASN’T SKINCARE SOLVING WELL ENOUGH FOR AGING SKIN?
M: Too many products targeting ageing skin are overly aggressive. They push activity without considering how the skin functions, often leading to irritation rather than improvement. I wanted to develop formulas that support active renewal without overwhelming the skin.
